Special Event Online Scanner
Home
This online scanner utilizes an Icom PCR-1000 computer controlled
receiver.
*** This is now a user controlled online receiver. What does this mean?
It means that anyone can connect to this receiver and "tell it what to do"!
What do you need in order to take advantage of this receiver?
1. Download a copy of PCR Remote from here
2. Once PCR is downloaded, open it, and BEFORE you hit the big power button, enter the following into the
server area: eldoscanner.hopto.org and THEN hit the power button. If you did things out of order, then
close PCR Remote and start over.
3. Once connected, you can hear the audio from one of the links below (or from the main page).
Some Tips:
1. This is a work in progress...I will add more Banks/Channels as time permits.
2. Be sure you are using the right Mode and Filter for what you are trying to listen to.
3. When you are tuning, be mindful of the STEP, MODE, etc.
4. If you experience any problems or have any questions, please contact the Webmaster
Even though this is a work in progress, you can still tune any frequency!!
There may be a lag of 3-5 (or more) seconds between the audio and the control of the receiver.
