1. If you have Windows, get Winamp!! If you have a Mac, get iTunes!! 
These two programs are the only two that will correctly display
the Alpha Tags information, allowing you to see who you are listening to.

2. For WINAMP Only!! - You can run multiple instances of Winamp at one time. 	 
    
	 
  • Go to OPTIONS
    • 
	 
  • Then PREFERENCES
    • 
	 
  • Then select GENERAL PREFERENCES
    • 
	 
  • Check the box labeled, "Allow Mulitple Instances of Winamp"
    • 
	 
  • Click CLOSE
    • 
	 
  • Restart Winamp
    • 
	 

 This will be useful if you want to monitor more than one stream at once. 
 Also, using the balance controls in the Equalizer of Winamp, you can set 
 one instance of Winamp to deliver audio from feed #1 to your left speaker,
 and and the other instance of Winamp to deliver the audio from feed #2 
 to your right speaker. 
 
3. By double clicking on the WINAMP lettering at the top of the Winamp 
player, you will get a shrunken down Winamp window that takes up a lot 
less desktop space. Also, by selecting "Always On Top" from the Options 
menu,you can have the shrunken Winamp player always on your desktop and 
you can move it to a place that won't be in the way. This allows you to 
always see who you are listening to! See the picture below:
